I draw inspiration predominately from nature, and my use of color and sense of visual movement ties my body of work together. Whether I am painting from nature, cars, or animals, the simple act of painting is my true motivation.
Acrylic paints are my primary medium, but I have rediscovered a love for thick oil paints, and on-the-go watercolor sketches. I enjoy going between mediums depending on which will lend itself best to the idea behind the painting.
